Spin is a function of your angle of attack and the loft on the club at impact. Ideally, on a driver, your spin will be in the 2000 to 2500 rpm range. As a general rule of thumb the higher the ball speed is, the less spin you need. Launch Angle functions similar to spin, and ideally, you would launch at about 12 to 14 degrees of the driver’s face. The best way to determine your current launch is getting on a launch monitor and testing your driver. So, our first conclusion must be that more distance means a higher clubhead speed. Get No Injuries

An important point here is the health and wellbeing of the golfer’s body. Most likely, you look at a ton of social media showing a golfer training for speed either in the gym with weights. Also, you find examples of golfers swinging on their knees. These golfers (and unfortunately) their trainers have no clue that the exercise or its execution is doing you harm.

So this implies that you know what you are doing, followed by knowing how to do it properly. If the exercise comes at a cost, as it might, or does hurt the body, it should be off the table.
